A Change gone come.....2015

Hello World...

Everyday somebody somewhere makes a different decision.  Yep, you've heard the saying that speaks to "someone doing things in the same manner but expecting a different outcome" right?  It's the same as a person walking around in a circle and expecting to end up in a different spot.  Sounds crazy...but lots of people do it in life.  With relationships, with their career, their mindset, their habits..it happens everyday.

No worries....bad habits can be broken and new thoughts added to the process.  It can be done.  Continue to chart your goals and set a deadline for each.  This will force you to figure out what which steps need to be adjusted.  You can also compare the steps of a past accomplishment to a current goal and see what you did to succeed, do what works.  As the picture above reads, it's all a process not just one event, shit happens and then you figure it out.

This past weekend was one of those holidays that people poke fun of the mistress or side piece.  You have ladies that revel in being that part-time lover <---- enjoy... they are of a special brood that I dare not attempt to understand...and then some ladies actually fall for a line from a guy that he will leave or is leaving his wife or some other line that keeps her in his life for years and years sometimes even with children born to their union.  Now from this situation you have folks that want to change but even when they get free of one situation they roll into another similar situation.  Not the mistress of a marriage but the mistress nonetheless, more of an after thought.  NO he's not married but he is unavailable to you in the way that you need him to be.  Hopeless romantics get caught up in situations like this, they hope for what they want and look for signs of possibility even though they know in their heart of hearts that nothing will change.  The red flag to move is there but they don't want to ruin this comfortable moment...it's a moment...yes enjoy it but then let it go.  Move on...a change has to come.

Check out your situation, your surroundings...now think about how your situation makes you feel.  Are you happy?  I mean really really happy?  If the answer is yes then you are in a good place; if the answer is no then it's time to move....it's time for a change.

It's not going to be easy, it's not going to feel good at all.  It's going to feel like you are pulling scab from a wound but if you're honest with yourself you'll admit that that wound had never really healed.   Take your own happiness in your hands and heal yourself, get back to the things that make you think with a clear head and make the better decisions.

Congratulations on step 1...and hey....don't you move backwards!  That situation may seem like a comfort zone but it's not...don't do it!  Keep moving forward!  The outcome will be a blessing for you in the long run.

The moral of today's blog story:
Forward movement..always forward movement.  Make the change and enjoy the new rewards!

Lessons Learned....

Hello World....

Perfect?  By no means, webster defines being perfect as:
: having no mistakes or flaws
: completely correct or accurate
: having all the qualities you want in that kind of person, situation, etc.

I don't know of anyone that falls under that definition, although lots people strive to pose as such to the real world.  What I do know is that for the 42 years (soon to be 43) that I've lived on this earth, I strived to do the best that I can under my normal circumstances.  Brought up in a Christian home (currently on church sabbotical) with a personal relationship with my Creator, given a wide berth in life to succeed or fail.  Meaning, given a chance to experience life, shown that so much more lies out there; that we are not blocked in our limited views, shown that (in the words of the Clark Sisters) the sky is the limit.

Perfect? Never will be but I do have some answers to some life lessons.  As an observer, I've watched other people do things and succeed and fail.  Habits either make us or break us.  Being consistent is a habit in all of us; consistently failing or consistently succeeding.  It's either one of the two.  We have to figure out the best way of succeeding in life, a healthy way to succeed in life.  We have to realize when a so-called "good thing" is unhealthy.  Just because it brings pleasure to you doesn't mean it's good for you.  Yes the sky is the limit BUT if you get up there by the wrong means, you will fall to the ground quickly.  Like a body on a torn parachute.  No rip cord, no protection just hitting the ground with a thud.  Pray for guidance and listen to those that come before you.  The fact that they have lived years before you gives them some knowledge of lessons learned.  Youth gives you assumptions that the elders know nothing, they are weak and know nothing of the good times to be had in the world.....when the fact is that elders have already experienced those good times and know first hand what happens when the wrong choices are made.  Think about it and learn from everyone else's lessons.

Again...am I perfect? Nope and I am NOT striving to be perfect it's more of striving to be the best Annissa that I can be!  Am I learning my lessons Yes...And it seems, even now, i'm still attempting to share them.  Whether anyone listens or not...welp...that's up to them.  I don't force people to do ANYthing nor do I like drama and confrontation.  Life goes on...it is what it is...Just learn your lesson...I know I'm learning mine.

To be continued.....

Peace and Blessings...
