Hello World...
This will be a short one...I have to speak on the reminder of my blessings that I received last month.
Valentines Day weekend was an icy week/weekend and our office moved that weekend. The streets were crazy icy and I needed to go from SW Atlanta to NE Atlanta/Sandy Springs. Thanks to an awesome business connection with a nearby hotel, I was able to lay my head down on the NE side without worrying about getting back to the SW side. During my stay I was able to catch up on some shows, including my fave TNT, BRAVO and HBO channels. One movie on HBO FAM snuck up on me, I don't know the title of it but it was a story of a country girl with a beautiful voice who made it big and then learned the real lesson of love. The moral of the story is to use your gift from your heart and you get the full potential.

P.U.S.H. - it works...
Hello World...
I'm loving life right now. Things are happening an it's a beautiful thing!
Our office just recently moved, I was one of the coordinators on the team and *whew* i'm glad it's over. Well the move part is over. Now we get to combine 2 1/2 offices, different personalities and make it all work. It's working right now, I can honestly say that. I've just been moving a lot since Feb 13th and I now what to sit down for a minute. Not for too long though. I like my job but I've hid behind it for much too long. My youth is fading...I need to move. I need to P.U.S.H. - pray until something happens - and at the same time
On the music scene I am singing background vocals for one of Atlanta's up and coming vocalists (by way of New Orleans), Meryl Lain in an Atlanta music event presented by International Choreographer Ursula Kendall of Ursula Inc, the flyer is posted below.
On the modeling scene, it is time for the annual ABS Fine Art and Apparel show. That flyer is posted below too.
On the food scene, Eat and Drink With Me is doing it's own thing. I'm currently connected with Nailah Travels for the Soul Beach Music fest in Aruba. This is happening in May. I have posted that flyer below.
Looking at all of this stuff makes me wanna go back to hiding under a rock while secretly wishing I was brave enough to use my gifts. UUUh not gonna happen. If I don't do it this time, I'm going to die trying. And my friends and associates will be able to say at my memorial, because i'm getting cremated, that she died sharing her gifts. Last Sunday, Bishop called for single women who'd been divorced that had businesses to come forth to be prayed for. Now, I hadn't been to church in a couple of weeks so physically being there was a blessing for me. So when he had this odd request I immediately ran downstairs to get my blessing. I've been talking to God for awhile about me doing better and humbly apologizing for trying to bury my gifts. This was overwhelming because I was worried that my Father hadn't been hearing me and was worried that my lifestyle of late had pushed me away from grace. But "i love the Lord, He heard my cry and pitied every groan". I now know what my elders were singing about. I've done my dirt, I'm not perfect by ANY shape, form or fashion but I know and love the Lord and He knows it.
Oh yes....me and Mr. Man are doing juuust fine.... *wink*
I've been saying this for awhile but get ready for Nissa K! She's coming! :-)

Hello World.....
If you've read my previous blog posts you'll know that I've been visiting a church recently thanks to the encouragement of my Aries brother and I joined today as an official member. I've been visiting consistently for the past week at the Action Living Conference at Gospel Tabernacle Church and I've been on a uphill climb trying to get my complete sanity back and it's been a travel BUT God has surrounded me with SO many positive people that keep my upbeat in different ways that's it's bananas! There have been times that I've sensed myself going into a state of sadness or depression and my phone rings with someone on the other line saying "hey let's go to do ABC, XYZ." Not something crazy but all of my friends are connected to the same hobbies and likes that I have so it's something that is instantly a spirit lifter. ok so anyway, I haven't had a church home in quite some time and my Aries brother invited me and I finally visited and prayed and asked God to let me know that I'm supposed to be there and each time by the end of the service I got it..my answer that is. So I'm no longer floating and on hiatus, I'll get some Word, some focus to push forward to the next level. I'm soooooo happy about that.
So anyway, I just had to share with you guys and I want to encourage you to push forward and don't sit back and don't settle for the mediocre. Nothing about your life is mediocre. It doesn't matter what anyone else says about you, you were born with a destiny, finish your objective! Do it!

I'm Normal...
World! Hello...
Just wanted to send a quick note to you at the end of the day. In this blog, You will read motivational stuff that may create the perception that I see the world through rose colored glasses and everything is happy happy joy joy (shout out to ren and stimpy) and I just want you to be aware that this is not true at all! I'm normal with my normal ups and downs like everybody else. But don't we hear enough negativity? Don't we read enough in the news? Heck my own mental negativity that I fight daily would depress the happiest human being on the earth..seriously. So what I have to do to combat that is speak calmness, happiness into the universe to others and it also helps me. So just in case you EVER should get the impression that I'm not living in the real world, I am living in the real world which is why I know that we ALL need inspiration whether we show it or not.
Ok take your left arm and wrap to the right and your right arm and wrap it to the left and hug yourself and have a lovely evening!
