In The Ladies Den last night - 5/29/25 - it was our last week of discussing "Mental Health Awareness".  We talked about how we are affected mentally by our upbringing.  How it shows up in our adulthood...it opened up alot for me.  Last night's show was almost a personal therapy session.  I still feel like folks don't always want to hear what you have to say BUT i'll keep on pushing.

I hope your 2025 is looking up, we are almost in June which means half of the year is already gone.  Our political environment is shyttey, the people are wondering why our community isn't in an uproar.  Personally, I can say that I am just numb to everything.  I'm sitting back watching.  It's crazy right now.

Anyway, I'm back on the east coast for now (GA) and just doing what I do.  Paying my mortgage and hopefully getting my storage shed to be able to move some stuff out of the hallway. Ugh!

Alright - in conclusion....

Hello World.....Happy New Year 2025

 Hello world!

Well our project sent us on a mandatory rotation I'll be heading back tomorrow to the west coast.  I got a chance to see my family and some of my friends, however at home in GA, my car isn't working and rideshare adds up. (oh boy)

I did get a chance to team up with some nightlife homies, a time was had!

2024 was the year of the Universe pushing me onto my new path.  From struggling to pay rent to a homeowner to seeing the world a little bit via corporate.  Guess who is not complaining...me??

I thank the Lord and my ancestors for my new path and I promise not to waste ANY time or talent.

Shouts out to The Ladies Den - we were nominated for an ATL's Hottest Award and we'll be celebrating our 2nd year this year.  Be on the lookout for more from the den!

OK world, the runway calls....LOL...it's the first #TLA runway class of 2025 and ya girl hasn't been on a runway in a good long time.  Let's get it!!

Hello World....The post-move crisis/other side of through

 Hello World!

My last post spoke of the move and showed the damage to my car.  I spoke wanting to get on the other side of through.  Well, I was on my way to the new house, I ended up in Stockbridge.  I would've never thought to move this far south.  I do like the new place and the area BUT about a week after moving here i noticed some health issues.  the first thought "MOLD"... O_O tha fuk??? i'm doing my medical due diligence as well as making sure I can take remedy steps in the house to fix it.  I went from being 100% to WTF waking up with swollen face, hands, stiff knees.  I'm in talks with my current "landlord" as well.  We gone fix this shit immediately!!

I'm working on it.....OH BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!

it's good news no worries.....I GOT A MAAAAAN y'all.....LOL....long story short:

I'm at the old spot, working on something in my office area, i get a phone call, he's still saved in my phone so I answered it friendly-like.  we have a real cool convo about this movie he's watching and the woman's eyes reminded him of me. He asks what i've been up to and I tell him everything, not because I'm looking for help but because as previously posted, I was tired y'all. (see 1/26 post)  Fast forward, he ends up assisting big time in my move in the old spot and new spot.  So we've decided to give it a new try, 10 years later.  we're both different folks with different lives/personalities.  I'm excited. ;-).

I've been meaning to update everything but I keep forgetting to put my laptop in a convenient spot.  I'll do better with updating.

Oh yes 1 more thing!  I have a podcast now with my 3rd coast friend (Kwana King) called "The Ladies Den" - We stream live every Thursday at 7p EST.  You can follow on YouTube and Facebook.

That's about it for now.  Life ain't bad these days....I'm getting some stuff fixed pronto!
